European Short Course Swimming Championships, czyli Mistrzostwa Europy w Pływaniu na Krótkim Basenie to wydarzenie, które zagości w Szczecinie w dniach 8-11 grudnia 2011 roku.
Floating Arena przyjmie pod swój dach okolo 800 zawodników, którzy startować będą w pięciu stylach pływackich: : stylu dowolnym (kraul), stylu motylkowym (delfinie), stylu grzbietowym, stylu klasycznym (żabce) oraz stylu zmiennym.
Rodzimy, nowoczesny Floating Arena to basen 50-metrowy przystosowany na czas zawodów do przepisowych 25 metrów. Obiekt ten nie jest nam obcy - MVB prowadziła szereg inwestycji związanych z projektowaniem, instalacją i uruchomieniem w pełni zintegrowanego systemu basenowego oraz systemu parkingowego przyległego do obiektu.

Zakres prac obejmował instalację urządzeń SAP w ciągach komunikacyjnych na 4 kondygnacjach oraz okien i klap oddymiających. Zamontowano trzynaście kompletów drzwi pojedynczych o odporności ogniowej EI30 oraz dwa komplety drzwi podwójnych o odporności ogniowej EI60 w obrębie klatek schodowych. Dodatkowo oddzielono klatkę schodową lekką zabudową o odporności ogniowej EI60.
Wykonane prace kończą I etap inwestycji związanej z poprawą bezpieczeństwa pożarowego obiektu. Docelowo wszystkie powierzchnie przychodni mają zostać zabezpieczone czujkami dymu.

Zawody żużlowe to wielka tradycja, jakże silnie pielęgnowana i kontynuowana w naszym kraju - ciesząca się coraz większym zainteresowaniem. Polska obok Wielkiej Brytani i Szwecji posiada najbardziej rozbudowane rozgrywki ligowe w Europie.
"Czarny sport" niewątpliwie dostarcza wiele emocji jego fanom, którzy licznie odwiedzają stadiony i gorąco dopingują swoich faworytów lub całe drużyny. Niezwykłe motocykle, które nie posiadają skrzyni biegów oraz hamulców, potężny ryk silników, pył, kurz to atrybuty speedway`a.
16 lipca 2011 na stadionie w Gorzowie odbył się Finał Drużynowego Pucharu Świata - trzeci raz wygrany dla polskiej reprezentacji, która nieprzerwanie od 2009 roku mocno stoi na 1 miejscu podium. Kibicujemy wszystkim naszym żużlowcom i cieszymy się, że możemy mieć choć mały udział i wkład we wspieraniu jednego z najbardziej utytułowanych klubów w Polsce.

Sportowe emocje nie są nam obce. Od wielu lat czynnie uczestniczymy w pracach organizacyjnych przy corocznym Turnieju Tenisa Ziemnego Pekao Szczecin Open. W roku 2007 wspieraliśmy organizację The Tall Ships` Races oraz wiele innych wydarzeń.
...teraz przyszła pora na kolejne ciekawe i widowiskowe dyscypliny sportu oraz wyzwania z nimi związane.
Niezmiernie miło ogłosić nam, iż zostaliśmy sponsorem tytularnym Szczecińskiej Drużyny Oldbojów w Piłce Siatkowej. Zgrana, zaangażowana i oddana duchowi rywalizacji drużyna MVB Szczecin, pokonała podczas dramatycznego, a zarazem emocjonującego XVI Finału Mistrzostw Polski w nadmorskim Rewalu ekipę z Nałęczowa. Jak wynika z relacji naszych "Złotek", wyniki na mistrzostwach nie są dla nich najważniejsze - zgodnym chórem podkreślają aspekt integracji całego środowiska siatkarskiego oraz możliwość spotkań po latach z kolegami z parkietu. Jako tytularni opiekunowie tak znamienitej Drużyny Oldbojów, jesteśmy dumni z prezentowanego przez nich zdania, jednak dopingujemy gorąco i liczymy na ich dalsze sukcesy i zwycięstwa :)

Dostawa, montaż oraz uruchomienie dwóch cyfrowych serwerów telekomunikacyjnych firmy Silcan to zakres prac jakie zostały zrealizowane w Starostwie Powiatowym w Kołobrzegu w marcu tego roku. W oparciu o technologię VoIP dokonano centralizacji dwóch dotychczas odrębnie działających sieci telefonicznych Starostwa- jedną funkcjonującą w budynku przy placu Ratuszowym i drugą przy ulicy Gryfitów.

Utworzenie jednolitej, wspólnej sieci pozwoliło w znacznym stopniu ograniczyć koszty połączeń pomiędzy budynkami (połączenia wewnętrzne są bezpłatne). Zastosowano także szeroko rozbudowaną funkcję 'INFOLINI', która pomaga Klientom Starostwa uzyskać żądane połączenia, zapewnia przyjazną obsługę użytkownikom sieci, a co za tym idzie, wpływa na usprawnienie pracy urzędu.
Podsumowując inwestycję należy podkreślić fakt, iż wszystkie wymienione zadania zostały wykonane bez jakichkolwiek utrudnień i niedogodności w trakcie pracy Starostwa.

Do celów obserwacji ważnych dla Inwestora miejsc przedsiębiorstwa zainstalowane kamery IP. Rejestracja obrazu oparta jest o cyfrowy rejestrator firmy Geutebruck . Szkielet systemu oparty został o okablowanie światłowodowe. Natomiast okablowanie poszczególnych kamer zostało wykonane w oparciu o certyfikowany przez firmę Molex system okablowania kategorii 5E.
